For filmmakers
Film and documentary music that clears in minutes, not months
Traditional sync means chasing two clearances per cue, master and publishing, each with its own rightsholders and paperwork. Every track here is a first-party production: Taksym generated it, owns both sides, and licenses them together in one checkout. What normally costs a music supervisor weeks takes you one click or one email.
The browser below starts on the film-score slice of the catalog: orchestral, ambient and cinematic cues with 30-second preview edits. Online release (YouTube, Vimeo, your own site and channels) is covered by the standard tiers. Festival runs, broadcast TV and theatrical need a short email first; and if nothing in the catalog fits, we compose to your brief for $249.
321 tracks ready to license today, each with a 30-second preview.
One-time fees, perpetual licenses, issued under the Taksym Standard Music License with a serial-numbered certificate. Files and certificate arrive by email within 24 hours.

Common questions
Does the license cover film festivals?
The standard tiers cover online distribution. Festival screenings, broadcast television and theatrical release are quoted as a separate written agreement: email license@taksym.com with the festival or broadcaster and we reply within a day.
Do I need to file a cue sheet?
Not for online use: Taksym tracks are not registered with any collecting society and the license forbids registering them, so there are no performance royalties to report. Broadcasters that require cue sheets fall under the separate broadcast agreement.
Can you score my film?
Yes. The $249 commission takes your brief (genre, mood, length, structure, reference scenes) and delivers licensed candidates, usually within days.
Who owns the music in my film?
Taksym keeps ownership of the track; you hold a perpetual, worldwide license to use it inside your film. The film itself stays entirely yours.
